Service Description
Tri-Survival’s Fire Lighting Beginner Course is the perfect introduction to one of the most important survival skills in the outdoors. This hands-on session is designed for those with little or no experience, breaking fire lighting down into simple, easy-to-understand steps. You’ll learn the basics of fire safety, how to prepare a safe fire area, understand different types of natural tinder, and successfully light a fire using beginner-friendly methods. We focus on confidence, control, and good habits so you leave knowing you can build and light a fire safely and responsibly. This course is ideal for newcomers to bushcraft, families, or anyone wanting to build a solid foundation before progressing further. No pressure, no prior knowledge required, just practical learning in a supportive outdoor environment. Join our half-day course, starting at 10am and finishing at 3pm. This course is the perfect stepping stone into our Fire Lighting Masterclass, Camp Cooking, and future primitive skills courses.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Cancellations made 7 days or more before the session will receive a full refund or credit. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the session are non-refundable, but we will do our best to move you onto a future course if spaces allow. If Tri-Survival must cancel due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule. Please arrive on time and wear appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Safety is our priority – all participants must follow instructor guidance.
